Result: 2 desi (since 1.8 ≈ 2 desi)

What is Desi Discrepancy?

You enter the desi when adding a product on Trendyol. But when shipped, Trendyol compares it with the measurements from the courier company. If there is a difference, it bills you for the extra weight.

Step 3: Note Discrepant Orders

Example: Reported 2, Billed 4 → 2 extra desis.

How to Dispute Desi Discrepancy?

Method 1: Direct Dispute on Trendyol

Trendyol Seller Panel → Accounting → Shipping Charges
Click the Dispute button.

In the dispute:

  • Write the order number
  • Specify that it is a “desi discrepancy”
  • Calculate the difference between reported and billed desi
  • Write the product size and weight
  • Packaging photo (optional but effective): Add a photo of the packaged product

Method 2: Dispute with the Courier Company

If Trendyol does not accept, you can dispute directly with the courier company (Yurtiçi, Ptt, Aras etc.). But this takes longer.

If you have 10+ desi discrepancies per month, preparing a bulk dispute file is more effective. List the orders in Excel and send it to Trendyol Seller Support.

Strategies to Prevent Desi Discrepancy

1. Set Realistic Product Sizes

Set the size and weight with a safety margin when adding products. Setting the desi slightly higher can help prevent discrepancies.

2. Factor in Packaging Size

If the product is 2 desis, but the box it goes in is 3 desis, write 3 desis.

3. Compare Different Courier Companies

If you use Trendyol All Cargo (TümKargo), discrepancies might be more frequent. Yurtiçi Kargo, Ptt, Aras measurements might be more accurate.

4. Contact Seller Support

If desi discrepancies continue, write to Trendyol Seller Support. A permanent desi recommendation can be opened in the system.
